New Jersey Soccer Excellence Program (NJX)

New Jersey Soccer Excellence, NJX, serves the soccer community as an alternative to area academy programs, where players and parents can expect a high value approach with high standards of player performance and development.  By setting realistic expectations for each team, NJX will provide a rewarding environment for players and parents without the familiar "win at all costs" mantra that leads to dissatisfaction and high player turnover.  Within NJX, all professional team coaches will report to the NJX Director of Soccer, Rich Pekmezian, and will operate with a specific set of performance expectations, while maintaining overall team authority.  Parents and players can expect periodic evaluations from each coach, so they know which areas players should focus on.  Like all high level programs, winning will certainly be a goal but will be kept in perspective.  NJX roster sizes will be managed so as to increase available playing time for enhanced development opportunity for each player.  Unlike many alternative programs, rosters will not be maximized to generate revenue.  Per player costs will be relatively low and will be all inclusive of the entire year-round program, so absolutely no surprise fees.  Through a combination of cost efficiency, beautiful Holmdel soccer fields and facilities, and experienced professional staff, NJX will ensure the highest level, best value for your soccer player throughout his or her youth.
