  • Bob Reasso Soccer School - Holmdel Stallions summer camp.
    After our very successful camp summer of 2009, Bob Reasso (Former Rutgers Soccer Head Coach) has again teamed with Rich Pekmezian (Stallions NJX Director of Soccer) to offer a week of summer camp to players age 6-17 at Cross Farm Park July 26-30. (Registration Form & Details)

  • Azzurri wins Rider Cup. The NJX Azzurri (92/93 Boys) won the Rider Flight of the Rider Cup June 19-20 at Rider University. They went 5-0 with 15 goals for and only 5 against to capture first place. The highlight of the Azzurri march to the Rider Cup was when Senior forward/midfielder, Alan Konovalov  scored 4 goals in the first game on 6/20. Coaches and long-standing players agreed that this was a first in the history of the Azzurri.

  • Azzurri coach hangs up cleats Jim Colaprico, head coach of the  NJX 1992/93 Azzurri, will hang up his cleats and retire from coaching in July after 12 years leading the team. See details. We congratulate Jim on his successes, dedication, and his selfless service over his coaching career. Jim is a true ambassador of the game.

  • Xtreme Win State Cup & MAPS Cup.  

    • On 11/1/09 the NJX Xtreme (98/99 Boys) won the USYS National Series NJ State Cup by defeating the Den of Lions 3-0 in the final. Congratulations to the Xtreme, Rich Pekmezian (Head Coach) and Brendan Wall (Manager).  See the corresponding article in the Independent Newspaper (.pdf).

    • On 11/14-15 the Xtreme captured the MAPS Cup in Fort Dix, NJ by defeating Olney BGC Roadrunners98 7-1 in the final.

  • Azzurri Players Key in ODP Advance to Region 1 Semifinals.
    The New Jersey 1993 Boys ODP team went undefeated in Region 1 pool play this weekend at Rider University and advanced to the semifinals in Delaware on June 26. NJX Azzurri player Luke Bush lead a defense that allowed just 1 goal in 3 matches and was the only player to play the entire match in the deciding win against NY West. NJX Azzurri player Nick Chiappone played in the midfield and scored a goal in a 3-1 victory over Rhode Island. Luke was also a regional pool player last year.

    Luke plays Varsity Soccer at Shore Regional High School, West Long Branch, NJ, class of 2011. Luke started varsity since freshman year and Shore Regional was CJ Group II finalists in both 2007 and 2008.
    Nick Chiappone Azzurri 1993 2009/10 State Team Nick plays Varsity Soccer at Colts Neck High School, Colts Neck, NJ, class of 2011. Nick has been Varsity since freshman year.
    John Doverspike Azzurri 1993 2009/10 State Pool John played JV Soccer at Christian Brothers Academy (CBA), Lincroft NJ, class of 2012. John was captain of his freshman team and the "Epitome of the Academy" his Soph. year.

    Alan plays Varsity Soccer at Marlboro High School, Marlboro, NJ, class of 2010. Alan started Varsity since Sophomore year. In the 2008 season he had 5 goals, 7 assists, and took his team to Shore Conference Tournament Finalists.

    Erica plays soccer at Pennington High School, Pennington NJ, class of 2013. Pennington was ranked the #1 high school team in the U.S. in 2008 and was ranked #4 team in 2009 pre-season, where she has scored 2 goals in 3 pre-season games.

    Tim plays Varsity Soccer at Christian Brothers Academy (CBA), Lincroft NJ, class of 2011. Tim was captain of both his freshman and JV teams.
  • Inter go undefeated. The NJX (01/02 Boys) Inter, Coached by Paul Golden, earned an unblemished record of 10-0 in each of the fall and spring NJ Coast league seasons while scoring 88 goals and allowing only 14. Details.

  • Rick Meana conducts NJX coaching clinic. Rick Meana (NJ State Director of Coaching and the NJ ODP Program) conducted a coaching clinic with the NJX Xtreme (98/99 Boys) and United (94/95 Girls) on Feb 17 at Holmdel High. Frank Pento (NJX Executive Director) said, "It's great to be able to bring in a seasoned soccer resource like Rick to advance our club's coaching education program. His years of dedication to various youth soccer programs was invaluable to help teach our coaches some of the finer aspects of running a quality training session. Having an instructor of Rick's caliber and making him available to member clubs like Holmdel Stallions/NJX, is truly a feather in NJYSA's [NJ Youth Soccer Associaton's] cap."

  • NJX Celtic Have Banner Season.
    The NJX Celtic, girls U8, team finished their inaugural season this fall undefeated with a 10 and 0 record.

  • NJX Goalkeeper Leads North-A Division in 2009.

    Kyle Dillaway (CBA) led all High School North-A Division goalkeepers in shutouts (7/15 games) and allowed only 11 goals overall.
